Three rooms, a wood stove, candles aplenty. The land owner asks only that you walk the orchard each morning and tend the small herb garden. You will see deer at dawn. You will hear only the brook and the wind. Term of one year, renewable.
Terms of the arrangement
Hermit shall walk the orchard daily, tend the herb garden, and remain unseen by visitors when the household entertains. Letters welcome, conversation rare.
